Boy Namias de Crasto (1935) obtained his degree of industrial design at the Academy of Designing in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. He also studied to become a teacher in drawing and painting at the Academy for Visual Arts in Amersfoort. Boy makes paintings in oil, acrylic and mixed media. His sculptures are in clay and bronze, and he also works with etchings, ceramics and calligraphy. Searching for beauty in his work, he continually challenges himself to express a deeper meaning.
