Wop Sijtsma (1939–2013) was born in The Netherlands and lived on Curaçao from the 1960s until his death. He drew and painted since a very young age and he studied at the Art Academy in Amsterdam. He had a very broad interest, but was fascinated by the human. His mastery was in mixing colors.
